SIX years ago, at this very time, I was gripping the dash board screaming,

 "I can't do this!!"

 Happy Birthday my darling most excellent Annie!!!





She said she wanted a surprise party, I said OK. Then she planned it. Had the cousins and a few gals over from the neighborhood, nothing fancy.

Airport Patriotism

As we walked down the hallway of flags she began to recite the Pledge of Allegiance.

I think R got knocked on the head, real hard, recently.

She told me she has too many clothes!

I pulled up in the driveway after field day. For 45 seconds
we just sat there in the car and the a/c in silence.
I said "So, Royanne, are you too tired to go in the house?"
One second, 3 seconds, 5 seconds, 10 seconds then ...
"What if I am?"
