Off the Shoulder

So last night she does the shoulder thing again
(slipping her nightgown off of one shoulder)
and says, "This is what monsters do."
And I said, "What, exactly?" And she said,
"They use their furry arms to wear their princess
pajamas on their shoulder (pronounced soldier).
