Easter

We saw on the marquee of the Georgetown Feed Store that they were having free Easter pictures. Bruce called to see what that meant, exactly. They told him there was going to be an area set aside where you could go and take pictures. You could stick little ducks or chicks in your pictures if ya wanted to. When we got there all of the little chicks and ducks had already been sold, but we still took pictures.

Here Ro tries her hand at engineering.

Then she expressed her desire to go four - wheelin'.

Next came farming.
Then she asked if she could take her agricultural equipment to her father's garden.

We sat her in a washtub and used a stuffed bunny as her friend.

She does something new all the time!

One day she won't quite be doing this or that, and the next, she has surpassed it, like she practiced in her sleep, and she's on to the next hurdle, milestone, item.....what have you.

Case and point: the week she learned to crawl. She really got after it. She was a pro in two days.

Then she started to stand up, and now she barely holds on. Cruising should begin soon!

PLAYTIME

Royanne spends a large portion of her day standing in front of the hearth and playing with various toys and her dollhouse.

In this picture, she is blaming the cats for her toys strewn around the living room.

And the Next Contestant Is.....

Royanne’s birthday kicked her out of the running for Regis and Kelly’s Cutest Baby Contest for this year, which was disappointing. She was just a tad bit too young. And we wanted to use a picture of her in that real pumpkin from Halloween, which was just too cute, if you ask me! Well, then I thought I’d start looking around for other contests. What better way to pay for a college education than to win a contest! So, I started looking around and a lot of contests wanted money first. We found one for baby food recipes, right up Bruce’s alley!! I wrote up a little thing (that I also put on her blog) and we won for the month of March! Below is a link to the website. We used her chef picture. Fun, fun!

On the same site I also entered her in a contest to win a booster chair. To enter, you had to describe your favorite essential baby item. I picked the Bumbo chair. They posted the entry, complete with a pictutre of her in the Bumbo. Fun, fun!
