Ready For A Wagon Ride to the Playground

Once we do something once, we have to always do it, it
seems. When we go for a ride in the wagon now, Royanne has to
have her hat and her sunglasses. Mind you, she really
doesn't like hats anymore. Case and point:
the other day I kept turning around from pulling the
wagon to be sure she hadn't thrown her sunglasses overboard,
but I somehow forgot about her hat. It was her birthday hat
that said
THE BIG 1
so I had to go back and find it. I thought surely it hadn't
been missing long, I would have noticed. We were 3/4 of the way on our
journey, but I had to back track for the hat. It was in front of
our friend Luther's, and he lives about 6 or 7 houses away
from our house! We practically went back to the beginning.
Backtracking was the longgggggggggg way, so that day we took
2 walks, sort of.

She has my glasses, my keys and she's
sitting on my phone!

Purple Shoes

Remember, Royanne loves shoes.
The Children's Place had a CLEARANCE sale in Hillsboro,
& we popped in last time
we went to Ft. Worth and we got these cute little shoes
for Royanne for $4.99.

Front, top and side views.
They have just a little bit of sparkle to them,
here and there.

See how cute they are, how tiny!! Here they are
displayed next to my reading glasses.

If You Give a Pig a Pancake....

If you haven't read the children's book
If You Give A Pig A Pancake, let me suggest you do.
It is very cute.

If you give a kiddo a chocolate chip cookie, homemade, chocked
full of chips, then it is ...........

very messy!

If you give my kid some green beans,

kidney beans and

mac n cheese, not from a box, but really
cheeeeeeeeeeeeessssssyyyyyy...
she'll throw her fork down........
use her fingers....

and you'll get a real big

MESS!!!!

Have Phone Will Travel

Now that Ro is getting taller, she can reach things on the
kitchen counter and island that she wasn't able to just a few weeks
ago (and she's outgrowing her footie pjs, too).

Leave your phone unattended, (or your keys
or mail.....) and she'll grab it. She gets a charge
out of things that aren't hers. And she DOES
know the difference.

You ask for it back, and you get this face, so you
have to decide: Is it worth the risk of possible
destruction to break her heart?

She loves the sounds coming from cell phones,
especially the Trio.

Halloween 2008

We met Kay, Craig, Mimi and the kids at the
pumpkin patch so Craig could buy the kids a few
pumpkins.

Liam and Royanne rode in the wagon for
a while.

Abby was dressed as a fairy of some kind, in a dark
colored tu-tu. Liam was dressed in his pajamas!

Missing teeth due to a falling accident. He fell on his
teeth and they were dying, so they had to be pulled.
He sounds so cute when he talks!

Royanne amongst the pumpkins.

Posing for her mom.

Halloween 2008 baby in pumpkin.

Baby in pumpkin. She is so good about
indulging me for a picture!

2007 baby watching pumpkin carving.

2008 baby and pumpkin carving.
What a difference a year makes!

We went to TRICK OR TREAT A TRUNK
at church Halloween night. Our trunk was decorated
with ghosts, spider webs and yellow crepe paper.
You can see Royanne standing in the trunk with her bag
that has a skunk glued to it!

She didn't understand the concept of gathering
candy, but she sure enjoyed handing out the stuff!

Royanne the skunk with
Tanner the cow.
CUTE!
