A New Hat

*
Remember when Royanne was a little baby
and she wore headbands and hats all the
time and when she turned 1 she decided
enough of that?
She wanted this hat but didn't want to
wear it or pose this day. We got
it for Easter, and we have to practice
and develop a relationship with the hat
in time for her to feel comfortable
with it on Easter morning! Silly, huh?
I hope it works! It worked Halloween
with the skunk costume!

She got her first big boo-boo and her first
over sized band aid.

Snack time, sharing with Elmo.

Such a good little mommie.

Partners in Assembly

The bottom guts fell out of our gas BBQue grill.
We were lost! We use it all the time! Our fairy
godmother brought us a new one and the next
day, Bruce and Royanne got after it.

Helping to push.

She was grunting!

I cut the bottom off, not apparent to me
until later, but she was trying to
assemble the support legs.

Little Helper

I decided Annie needed more shelf space,
her one closet shelf and the floor underneath were
always a mess. I thought I might find something
at a used shop, but we found a very
sturdy you-make-it shelf at Target and it was pink!

It took longer than necessary, but Annie
really had a good time helping!

Here she is trying to put a screw in the
side. The little electric screwdriver is
just perfect for her.

Trying to imitate daddy.

Approaching completion.

A finishing touch?

Ta-da!

The place is a little more organized, but she
delights in throwing things on the
floor and will state:
"MESSY!"

Hat

Shirt Or No Shirt?

SHIRT OR
NO SHIRT?
(aka I'm going to invest in
stain remover stock!)

Daddy's BBQ should have been shirt-free!

Ice cream shoulda been shirt free,

....or at the very least, with a bib!

Home made mac n cheese was really
cheesy this time!

She loves cheese!

When Bruce comes home from work, Annie
goes for his shirt pocket. There she'll
find a 2 ounce portion cup of goldfish,
grape tomatoes,
bananas, pineapple, or grapes.

This night he came home with a
strawberry shake.
(not in his pocket!)

I REMEMBERED TO REMOVE
THE SHIRT!!!!

Who ever thought you'd need to go topless
to art class?

Washable markers are awesome!
