I guess it has been 100-120 days so far....Miss Royanne
has been VERY sassy. Throwing tantrums, kicking,
hitting things, throwing things,
yelling, screaming, sobbing....and nothing seems
to deter her from it. Not a spank, not standing in
the corner, not taking away TV time, NOTHING!
I try and talk to her about it. I explain disrespect gets her
punishment. I tell her I keep trying to find a way to
get her to understand,
to get her attention. Tonight, amidst sobs, she tells me,
"Momma, I understand. You're right."
Tonight I got her attention by denying
her time in our bed, either with
books, or a short movie, or silly
snuggling. I'm sad about it.
She sobbed almost to the point of
throwing up.
