Busy Girl

As you can see, we (Bruce) have our share of cookbooks. We used to
keep the bin of potatoes and onions on the top left
portion of the shelf, but not after the baby went mobile!

Now that she is fearless and blessed with pretty
good balance, Royanne climbs up there pretty often!

When she does this in her diaper alone,
she gets real red on her legs and tummy; her skin
is very sensitive.

After she sits for awhile and jabbers some,
then Ro wants to change her position but she can't,

.......so she yelps for some help.

These days Royanne doesn't like it when I am in the
kitchen doing the dishes or cooking. So, I put her in the
booster seat and gave her some harmless items to slam
around in the drawer. Her best fun was tossing them
overboard for me to pick them up! It happened so
many times, it got my acid reflux going and I received a
nice healthy (not!) dose of heartburn!

So, once bored with the drawer, to the floor she went.....
she can really make a big mess quickly!

SEE??!!

Royanne, like I said, has no fear, even after falling from
the top of the play scape and landing flat on her back.
She whimpered some but really didn't cry. Right away, she
was 'back up on the horse', playing and squirming throughout
the play scape.

She hooks her arms in the corner and drops herself
to the ground. Alot of the time she is holding a toy,
so you could say she was doing it one handed!

Here she goes from the hearth over the side to the inside
platform. I have a hard time letting her play when she gets
wound up, and I must gasp often, because now she does it! And
sometimes when she does it, it is at an appropriate time and it is
HILARIOUS!!!!

I have covered the opening to the fireplace and placed two bins
full of toys and books on either side,
but she still wants back there.

Meltdown means nap time is soon to follow!
