Last week Abby came to spend the night with Royanne.
Royanne was trying to get something from behind the
desk. It was really funny watching her.
She couldn't reach it, so she decided standing on her
tiptoes might make it attainable. She was also
screaming in frustration. (Notice the dowels going through
the drawer handles to keep nosey fingers OUT!)
She tried sitting down again and wanted someone
to help her.
I went over to see what she was after and I moved
the desk chair. It was an orange cup that she
carries around full of ice chips.
Here I was trying to convince her to come around
to the front of the desk, but she was having
none of it.
Eventually I took her by the hand and showed her
she could now reach her plastic cup from the front
of the desk.
She was a happy girl again.
She found some Dorothy shoes, & even though they are
currently too big, we had Abby do the honors.
She looked like she had flipper feet!
But she didn't care, she LOVED them!
Going outside to play. Water is usually a factor.

I had some old bread, so they tore it up for the birds.
Abby understood: Royanne had a stale snack!
I made Abby a pallet in Ro's room with 3 quilts, 2 afghans, 2 blankets
and a sheet. Royanne squealed with delight! It took those girls a while
to go to sleep!
land of toys (and strowing them).
Aunt Tammy & Uncle Darrell.
She usually has her afternoon milk stretched out on the couch.
(Is she copying a grown-up?)
